Optibelt-RBK
Ribbed Belts
Very quiet and extremely flexible, the Optibelt ribbed belt drives equipment in many cars,
commercial vehicles and buses. The ribbed belt transmits power to the turbo-charger, the power steering pump, the air
conditioning compressor, and the alternator.
Progressive reduction in the size of new engines calls for ever smaller pulley diameters and narrower
spaces in which to install them. The single belt characteristic of the ribbed belt makes clever use of this restriction.
Because of its extreme flexibility, the Optibelt ribbed belt is able to be used on serpentine drives.
